The Other Sea

Video installation with an ocean motif. Two screens propped up at an angle show slow-motion scenes of the ocean that remind our regular consciousness of the existence of a separate, other place.

Kenji Oyama

Born 1971 in Okinawa Prefecture.
Attained a master’s degree in painting from Tokyo University of the Arts’s Graduate School of Fine Arts. Past exhibitions include the Gendai Okinawa Art Exhibition in 2003, and Manazashi no Chiso in 2015.
